This track was newly written as the opening theme for the TV anime Mebius Dust, which begins broadcasting in July 2026. Based on the story of boys and girls who live isolated and restricted lives simply because they possess special abilities, the song captures the conflict, frustration, and pain that everyone harbors in their hearts. Instead of trying to ignore negative emotions, the message of accepting them as they are and moving forward is expressed through a large-scale rock sound and sorrowful yet powerful vocals.
Inspired by how the protagonist, Araki, faces himself while forming relationships with others, the creator shared that they came up with the lyric, ‘Are you ready to be yourself?’ Furthermore, the song embodies the sentiment that ‘being true to oneself’ is not something that is fully formed from birth, but rather something acquired and continuously refined throughout life.
This release features production by Yoichiro Nomura, marking their first collaboration, and the jacket art uses an illustration of the protagonist Araki, leaving a more profound impression of the series’ worldview.
