CORTIS is a new group debuted by Big Hit Music, the “boy group powerhouse” home to BTS and Tomorrow X Together. The group’s name was created by irregularly selecting six letters from the phrase “COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES.” It signifies “thinking freely, breaking away from the standards and rules set by society.” Just like their name, the members present “voices that begin outside the box.” They create music in their own way, rather than conforming to the “correct answers” demanded by society. They are unafraid of unique experiments, such as filming themselves running excitedly while holding a 360-degree camera in their mouths or dancing while jumping on and off a constantly moving treadmill.
